Rebar Installation

Code-compliant rebar tying for foundations, slabs, retaining walls, and structural concrete.

A grid of installed rebar tied in place before a concrete pour.

Rebar is the quiet backbone of every concrete structure. Concrete is strong in compression and weak in tension; rebar handles the tension. Get the spacing, lap length, cover, or tie pattern wrong and the slab cracks, the footing fails, or the wall fails inspection. We have been tying rebar across Lower Mainland projects for years and treat it as the structural work it is.

We tie rebar for foundation footings and walls, slab-on-grade, suspended slabs, retaining walls, column cages, stairs, and any structural concrete element on residential and small-commercial sites. Every job follows the engineered drawings - bar size, spacing, splice length, hooks, and cover are all per spec. Where there are no drawings (smaller residential), we work to the BC Building Code minimums.

On larger jobs we coordinate with the general contractor, framer, and concrete crew so that the rebar is in and tied off in time for the inspection slot. We supply the bar, the tie wire, the chairs and dobies for cover, and the labor. We work in 10M, 15M, and 20M as standard, with larger sizes on engineered work.

We have done rebar across Surrey, Delta, and Abbotsford. Send the drawings or describe the pour and we will quote per linear foot of bar or as a fixed price. Inspections are our responsibility to pass - we do not leave a site until the rebar is signed off.
