A yard makeover is different from one-off landscaping in scope. It is when you look out at a yard that has not worked for years - bad drainage, dead patches, awkward levels, fencing falling down, a path nobody uses - and decide to fix the whole thing at once.
We treat makeovers as a single project with a single coordinated crew. That matters because the trades are interdependent: you cannot pour the new patio until the grading is right; the fence has to wait for the retaining wall; the sod goes down last after the irrigation is in. Sequencing it properly is the difference between a four-week job and a four-month one.
A typical makeover for us bundles some combination of: rough grading and drainage correction; removal of old concrete, decking, or fencing; a new patio or walkway; a retaining wall where the grade calls for it; new planting beds and a fresh lawn (sod or seed); replacement fencing along one or more property lines; and lighting and irrigation rough-in if you want it. Because it is one crew on one project, pricing is usually 10–20% lower than booking each piece separately.
