Planters and waterfalls are the details that lift a yard from neat to memorable. They are usually the last thing added to a landscape and the first thing visitors comment on. We build both as one-off custom pieces, sized and finished to suit the specific yard.
Planters: we build raised beds and freestanding planters in poured concrete (smooth or board-formed), dry-stacked or mortared natural stone, manufactured stone veneer over a concrete core, and pressure-treated or cedar timber where the look calls for it. Common configurations: built-in planters that double as low seating walls along a patio edge, tall stone planters flanking a front entrance, and tiered raised vegetable beds with proper drainage and free-draining soil mix. Every planter we build has a drainage outlet - sitting water kills plants and cracks containers.
Waterfalls: we design and build recirculating garden waterfalls scaled to the space, from a small wall-mounted spillway to a multi-tier pondless cascade that empties into a hidden reservoir. Pondless designs are the most popular because they need almost no maintenance (no fish, no pond chemistry, kid-safe) and are easy to winterize. We dig the reservoir, install the pump and pre-formed liner, build the stone arrangement on top, and plumb it cleanly.
